Naked City is an artist-led publication celebrating the human figure — and the models who inspire.

We are a home for all artists: painters, drawers, photographers, writers, poets, filmmakers, and anyone else inspired to create. Each issue gathers work across painting, drawing, photography, writing, poetry, video, and whatever form creativity decides to take.

The figure has been at the centre of art for as long as art has existed. Whether it be a drawing on a cave wall or a post on social media, the pose hasn't changed. Only the medium has.

Kristen is a watercolor artist, model, and studio monitor whose work lives at the intersection of observation and intimacy. She started Naked City to build a space where artists and models are seen as collaborators — equally part of the work.
